UDP > RTMP Transcoder is a product that gets MPEG-Transport Stream (MPEG-TS) input and transcodes it into Flash Video (FLV) and sends it over a Flash Media Server (FMS), which is mostly intended as a 'resource provider' for Satellite-to-Internet broadcasting networks. It receives MPEG-TS multimedia from multicast networks and packages the content in Flash Video suitable for Macromedia / Adobe's Real Time Messaging Protocol ( RTMP ), and outputs it to the network.

Multimedia received from the network can be encoded as an MPEG-2 or H.264, H.265 video with MP3 or AAC audio stream at the desired resolution, samplerate and bandwidth values. Then it is muxed as a Flash Video and streamed as an RTMP stream at the desired location.
